Following the upgrade to a new core banking system in year 2011, there was a change in the account number format for all CIMB current/savings accounts from a 9-digit or 11-digit format to a 10-digit format.
Please ensure that you use your 10-digit CIMB current/savings account number for all transactions.
Please note that the 10-digit CIMB account number is required for FAST from other participating banks into your CIMB account. FAST cannot be processed if you key in the old 9- or 11- digit account number.
Effective 1 July 2012, CIMB Bank customers who wish to use their ATM card for cash withdrawals or balance enquiries while overseas will need to activate the ATM card in advance at any CIMB Branch or call CIMB At-Your-Service (+65) 6333 7777.
