You will receive your card within approximately 14 working days upon our receipt of your application with the required documents. Applications not accompanied with required documents or with incomplete information will cause a delay in processing. If there is a surge in applications, we seek your kind understanding that there may be a delay in processing your application.
The finance charge on cash advance will be revised from 2% per month for CIMB Visa Infinite and CIMB WORLD/PLATINUM MasterCard or 2.25% per month for CIMB CLASSIC MasterCard to 2.333% (effective interest rate 28% p.a. subject to compounding on the amount withdrawn), chargeable on a daily basis from the date of withdrawal until receipt of full payment.
b. Finance charge on transactions for CIMB Visa Infinite and WORLD/PLATINUM MasterCard
If the minimum payment is not received in full by the payment due date of any Billing Statement, finance charges will be levied at the rate of 2.25% per month (effective interest rate of 27% p.a. subject to compounding) chargeable on a daily basis, on such amounts as are due and owing (subject to a minimum monthly charge of S$2.50 or such other sum as may be determined by the Bank). The finance charges will revert back to the effective interest rate of 24% when minimum payment is received in full by the payment due date. Any adjustment or reinstatement of interest rate shall take effect from the date of such Billing Statement immediately following the payment due date of a relevant Billing Statement.
c. Updates to Cardmember’s Agreement
Please also note that Clauses 5.3(h), 20 (for CIMB Visa Infinite), 21 (for CIMB WORLD/PLATINUM MasterCard) and 19 (for CIMB CLASSIC MasterCard) of the CIMB Credit Card Cardmember’s Agreement have been revised to clarify how fees for transactions in foreign currencies and/or overseas are charged. As of 1 January 2014, complimentary access to The Damai Spa & Fitness Facilities at Grand Hyatt will no longer be available. Cardmembers will instead be able to enjoy access to Willow Stream Spa at The Fairmont Singapore.
Complimentary parking at Amara Singapore As of 1 February 2014, complimentary parking at Amara Singapore will no longer be available. In replacement, complimentary parking at Singapore Marriott Hotel will be increased to 30 redemptions daily.
